About Our Host – Brian J. Weiss, The Tech Stoic
Brian J. Weiss is a visionary IT expert and Stoic practitioner who has shaped the tech landscape for over two decades. In 2005, he founded ITECH Solutions in Templeton, California, building it into a trusted Microsoft-focused firm serving small businesses and mid-market clients with secure, client-centric IT solutions. Starting as a high school computer technician in 1996, Brian’s career spans cybersecurity, AI-driven systems, and strategic IT planning, all guided by a commitment to curiosity, adaptability, and ethical service, values that echo Stoic principles of composure, integrity, and continuous growth.
With a background as a radio DJ and sound engineer, Brian brings a dynamic storytelling flair to The Tech Stoic. Inspired by Stoicism in his 40s, he launched the podcast to share how philosophy can elevate tech leadership and decision-making, drawing on lessons from his journey building ITECH into a leader in managed IT services. His goal is to help listeners navigate technology with purpose and resilience.
